Unless otherwise stated, all definitions and terms used in this announcement shall have the same meanings as defined in N2N’s announcements dated 26 June 2020 and 29 June 2020.
On behalf of the Board, PIVB wishes to announce that after due and careful consideration, the Company has decided to withdraw its application in relation to the Proposed Transfer which was submitted to the Securities Commission Malaysia on 29 June 2020.
This decision was made after taking into consideration the continuing market volatility amid the expectation of softening in global growth. As such, the Board is of the view that it is not the best time for the Company to continue with the Proposed Transfer.
Nonetheless, it is the intention of the Company to relook on the Proposed Transfer in the future.
